General Rules Regarding Camping for our Scouts:
1. Scouts are not allowed to sleep in the tent with an adult other than their parents.
2. Webelos are not allowed to camp in the same camp site with the Boyscouts (you guys will be very close though).
3. Webelos are not allowed to cook on anything other than an open fire or grill.
4. Webelos are not allowed in the axe yard nor are they allowed to carry a knife without their whittling chip. If your scout has his whittling chip he must be supervised and a designated Webelos knife area must be established for the purpose of Webelos and knife use.
5. No heaters of any kind.
6. Webelos are not allowed to add wood or other items to the campfire. they are not allowed inside the 10ft safety ring without permission and adult supervision.
7. When on an outing or camp out–the Scout Leader (Scoutmaster, Assistant Scoutmaster, Webelos Den Leader) is in charge. if you want to know if you are allowed to do something the leaders are the people to go to — not your parent. They have the last say if it is “no” then do not go try to get permission from parents.
8. You may be asked to go home at any time if your behavior warrants it. So be sure to be on your best behavior. The better you guys act, the more likely you will be asked to join in on a troop event.
9. The camp out is limited to Webelos scouts only–no siblings.
10. While on the camp out you must adhere to troop rules the main one being you must ask for permission to enter a boyscout camp site. This includes the adults.
More rules may be added on site. “Be Prepared”
