“DO A GOOD TURN DAILY”

“Do A Good Turn.” You can help feed the hungry here in the four counties of Southwest Alabama. The Mobile Area Council’s Annual Scouting for Food Drive will be held on Saturday February 7th, 2009 with Mobile, Baldwin, Washington, and Clarke Counties participating. All collections will go to local food banks in each county, and will help replenish their empty shelves due to services rendered after the storms. Read more »

Pack 497 will be sleeping aboard the USS Alabama on January 3, 2009.  Payment and forms must be submitted by Monday November 17th.  Unfortunately refunds cannot be given once we have paid.  Only males will be allowed to sleep on the ship that night. Females may tour the ship but will be asked to leave at bedtime.  We will have pizza for dinner and provide drinks.  The cost is $22 a person regardless of age.  Please bring sleeping bags, pillows, blankets, flashlights, snacks and drinks. The gift store will be open. T shirts and patches are available for purchase.

THE FIRST WEBELOS CAMPOUT. THIS IS A VERY EXCITING TIME FOR OUR WEBELOS—FOR SOME THEIR FIRST 3 DAY/2 NIGHT CAMPOUT AND EVEN BETTER THEY WILL BE CAMPING CLOSE TO AND ENJOYING THE WHOLE WEEKEND WITH THE BOY SCOUTS.

WHEN: OCTOBER 17, 18, 19

TIME: BE AT THE MUSEUM BETWEEN 6P-9P (please do not come early)

COST: $12/PERSON (this fee includes breakfast Sat, Lunch Sat, dinner Sat and continental bkft Sun) Deadline for payment is OCT 14. I will meet anyone who needs to pay on Oct 14 at the Church between 530p-6p. I will be at the church until 730, but try to come before 6 as the troop will be in a meeting.
